We bought our first TV generator in Aracaju, Sergipe State, Brazil, in 1997 in order to evangelize people. The purchase was financed in 24 monthly installments and all Cancao Nova members, friends and benefactors engaged in that marvelous adventure of getting the money to pay each monthly installment.

At that time we decided to follow the steps of Saint John Bosco, founder of the Salesian Movement: “just give me the souls and keep the rest for you.”

Our adventure did not stop in that first TV generator. At present we count on the generosity of Cancao Nova Family in each new conquest for the sake of evangelization. Our family has become a big family all over the world!
