"From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. For in him we live and move and have our being.' As some of your own poets have said, 'We are his offspring'" (Acts 17:26-28)
Our first vocation can’t be another besides loving God from all our hearts, searching a sublime communion with the Lord.
Today, we exist thanks to this truthful love of God towards us, and our happiness will only be completed when our will become the will of the Lord.
We need to search the Lord in every possible circumstance in order for us to say as Saint Paul: "I no longer live, but Christ lives in me"(Gal 2:20a)
Our life, our family, friends, happiness and sadness, do not belong to us, but to God. The Lord wants to alone be adored and the first to be Loved by us, because He deserves. He wants all our love, as He loves us very much. This way, while loving the Lord, we also learn to love the ones surrounding us in an entirely gratuitous way.
During this day, let us experience by letting this pure love of Jesus take over our being. Sure that this love will sustain us every moment.
Jesus, in You I trust
